Increasing water hardness / water salinity causes sediment deposition in facilities to intensify significantly. Sediments are one of the most important erosion and corrosion factors in thermal and refrigeration facilities. The presence of deposits, in addition to causing erosion and corrosion, also wastes a significant amount of energy due to the lack of heat exchange and reduces the efficiency of the facilities.

* Where is Waterplus used in industry?

- Cooling towers: the Waterplus device dissolves all sediments in the water transmission pipes and reduces the cooling visit period and the device recovery time.

- Condensers: This product prevents clogging of pipes in condensers and increases the life of the device. Also, periodical visits and production line downtime are minimized.

- Heat exchangers: the water optimizer device protects the clogging of heat or heat exchangers against sediment and causes the maximum transfer of temperature between the components of the device

- Resin hardeners: Waterplus increases the life of resin hardeners and also reduces the number of periodic visits and the time to revive the device.

- RO devices: due to the direct connection of RO devices with water solutions, the membranes of this device are more clogged. The waterplus device prevents the clogging of ROs and also increases the life of the membranes.

- Steam boilers: In a steam boiler, due to the fact that we are directly related to the temperature, we are involved with more sediment. By changing the structure of the water, the Waterplus device prevents the formation of hard calcite deposits.

- Cooling tower: Waterplus is installed at the water inlet of the cooling tower and has several advantages:

Removing sediment in the cooling tower (especially in the nozzles and packings), helping to collect coarse particles of sediment in the bottom of the cooling tower, increasing the efficiency of the cooling tower by 10% (this causes an increase in DT). Waterplus is recommended in cases where the rate of evaporation is too high or the hardness of the water in the area is high.

- Chiller: Waterplus is installed after the pump and at the inlet of the condenser (absorber in absorption chillers) and protects that part of the chiller that is in contact with the water of the cooling tower against sediment.

Waterplus is installed after the pump and at the entrance of the generator (for hot water and hot water absorption chillers). Using it increases the efficiency of the generator, in this way hot (warm) water with a relatively lower temperature can be used to run the chiller, which means saving energy.

- Hot water boiler: Waterplus (1) is installed at the entrance of the boiler to prevent sedimentation inside the boiler. (In cases where a pump is used at the boiler inlet, it is necessary to install Waterplus after the pump.)
Waterplus (2) is installed in the way of the feed water (make up) and it is installed in order to help create argonite precipitation.
Waterplus (3) is installed after the pump and its purpose is to reduce sedimentation in heating networks. Due to the spread of these networks, it is recommended to use several small devices in different branches and even as close to the main systems as possible instead of one big device.

- Boiler: Waterplus (1) is installed at the inlet of the steam boiler and after the feed pump (feeder) and by increasing the solubility of water, it prevents sedimentation in high concentrations of about several thousand ppm.
Waterplus (2) is installed at the entrance of the deaerator and in order to remove possible deposits in the deaerator (caused by preheating the water).
Waterplus (3) is placed at the entrance of the main tank and on the feed water to help form argonite crystals.

- Coil source and double-walled source: Waterplus (1) is installed in the way of incoming cold water.
Waterplus (1) has been installed in this route in order to remove sediment and increase thermal efficiency.
Waterplus (2) is installed on the way of circulating water. Due to the fact that the cold water entering the coil source passes through Waterplus (1) only once, the use of Waterplus (2) is strongly recommended to help the performance of Waterplus (1).
Waterplus (3) should be installed in the hot water path of the heating network (closed water path) in order to remove possible deposits and increase thermal efficiency. The use of Waterplus (3) is recommended in cases where the hardness of the water in the area is high.
